Amanda Galle began training at All Canadian Martial Arts “(A.C.M.A.”) at the young age of six. She loved watching Power Rangers, a TV show from the 1990s. Amanda’s father noticed she was imitating characters by demonstrating punches and kicks to him and her family, which pushed him to enrolled her at A.C.M.A. Vito Brancaccio, the owner of A.C.M.A., began teaching Amanda karate, self-defense, weapons, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, and kickboxing. Amanda’s passion for boxing grew at the tender age of 13 and she began focusing in this area. Vito began training her specifically in boxing, giving her private lessons, improving the technical aspects of pad drills, bag drills, developing head movement and footwork. Three years later, at the age of 16, Amanda had her first boxing bout.
Amanda calls A.C.M.A. “home” as she has been part of this martial arts school since six years of age. Amanda started instructing children and adults by the age of 11, teaching them karate, self- defense, kumite, kickboxing, and boxing. Currently, she manages A.C.M.A and is one of the main instructors and her students adore her. She teaches the physical attributes to help one protect themselves and also develops her student’s positively, providing them with a strong work ethic, heightened self-esteem, guidance, and support. Being in a martial arts setting from the age of six a well as being introduced to World Champions in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing, and MMA in partnership with the athletic ability she had from a young age was what influenced her to compete in boxing! Her coach was also approached by skilled competitive fighters to coach them and better their technical boxing skills. She trained alongside these athletes and developed as a boxer and athlete as well.
As a highly decorated boxer who has been competing in two weight classes, Galle currently wishes to continue pursuing her boxing career in the professional rank in the future. She is known for her aggressive fight style, pushing the pace with non-stop action, and executing precise powerful punches, which are all positive traits of a professional boxer. She sees herself winning a North-American Title, and WBA World Title!
Aside from her boxing career, Amanda graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She will be attending a teacher’s college and complete all the necessary courses to become a school teacher. She loves working with children. Through her athletic background, she feels she will be an asset to the teaching faculty, moreover physical education department.
