Hamza Khabbaz started boxing when he was 14 years old. He has practiced many sports before he took on this sport. At the time, an older guy used his “boxing skills” to beat him. This anecdote was the initiating event that made him decide to start the spor. Hamza adores boxing because it is a unique sport. It is a combat sport, but both boxers fight with class and respect. He also likes that it is an individual sport where all the results depend solely on yourself and the efforts that you provide.
Over the next few years, Hamza envisions himself as one of the key figures in Canadian boxing. He hopes to win an Olympic medal and become a great professional boxer. Beside his career as an athlete, he is currently studying at Collège de Maisonneuve in Social science / administration. He aspires to complete his Law degree, because according to him, it is essential to be an educated athlete.
