Naomie Pelletier started boxing at the age of 12 after watching Micky Ward’s movie, Le Coup de Grâce. At first, her father was reluctant with the idea, but after meeting with the coaches, he was convinced and registered her at the local boxing club. Her favorite aspect of boxing is the thrill she feels prior, during and after her bouts.
Naomie would like to participate in the Olympic Games and then start her professional boxing career. In addition to being an athlete, she was in a sport-study program for boxing from Secondary 3 to 5. She is currently studying Criminology in College and would like to attend University afterward.
