Pr\u00e9sident du <em>Regina Boxing Club<\/em>, il officiellement intronis\u00e9 lors de la 25<sup>e<\/sup>\u00e9dition du Ken Goff Memorial Boxing Classic ce vendredi 4 mai au EventPlex at Evraz Place. Il est reconnu pour sa carri\u00e8re en boxe amateur qui perdure depuis 63 ans et pour son d\u00e9vouement exceptionnel au niveau du d\u00e9veloppement athl\u00e9tique, de l\u2019entra\u00eenement et l\u2019administration du sport.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>\u00ab\u00a0Je ne le fais pas pour moi, je m\u2019implique pour les jeunes, mais j\u2019appr\u00e9cie la reconnaissance, \u00bbaffirme Goff. \u00ab\u00a0Mon p\u00e8re adorait le sport et il m\u2019a transmis sa passion.\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Le p\u00e8re de Goff, Ken Goff, a fond\u00e9 le <em>Regina Boxing Club<\/em>en 1949 et le KGMBC est un hommage \u00e0 son engagement perp\u00e9tuel au sport et \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-10796-0-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-last-child\" data-index=\"1\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<h5><strong><span lang=\"FR-CA\">Pour la 25 \u00e9dition du KGMBC, le Canada affronte les \u00c9tats-Unis ce vendredi 4 mai \u00e0 20h au EventPlex at Evraz Place et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement revanche, la Brandt Cup, dimanche le 6 mai \u00e0 13h au Ramada Plaza Regina. De nombreux m\u00e9daill\u00e9s des Championnats du Monde et de Championnats Continentaux seront parmis les boxeurs presents pour cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement comprenant huit combats. \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Sara Haghighat-Joo, boxeuse de la d\u00e9l\u00e9gation canadienne est descendue d'une cat\u00e9gorie de poids dans l'espoir de pouvoir se qualifier pour les Jeux olympiques de Tokyo 2020 chez les 51Kg. Pr\u00e9sentement, trois cat\u00e9gories f\u00e9minines sont reconnus aux Olympiques, soit 51Kg, 60 kg, and 75 kg.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>\"Il s'agit d'une belle exp\u00e9rience pour tester mes habilit\u00e9s face \u00e0 une boxeuse exp\u00e9riment\u00e9e et savoir o\u00f9 je me situe dans cette nouvelle division de poids olympique,\" affirme Haghighat-Joo. \"Je m'entra\u00eene fort et je suis confiante pour cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement.
