Canadian Officials Represent at the World Championships in Liverpool
September 19, 2025 – Boxing Canada is proud to announce that three Canadian officials – Ed Blanchard, Jeff Verhoeven, and Frank Fiacco – recently represented Canada at the World Championships in Liverpool, held from September 4 to September 14, 2025.
The prestigious event brought together the world’s best athletes, coaches, and officials for an intense showcase of boxing excellence. Having Canadian referees and judges on the international stage not only reflects the high standard of officiating in Canada, but also strengthens Boxing Canada’s presence within the global boxing community.
Boxing Canada is thrilled to have experienced officials participating in World Boxing events. Their involvement ensures that Canada continues to be recognized for its professionalism, fairness, and commitment to the sport at the highest levels of competition.
