How many years have you been boxing? 8 years
Why did you start boxing? I started boxing when I was 23. I was working out at a local gym when a trainer there asked me if I wanted to do some pads. I tried and loved it. Next thing you know I signed up for a local boxing charity event called Fight For the Cause. I trained with a group of people for 8 weeks then we all had our first fight at a black tie event at the Empress. I won my fight and never looked back. I was hooked.

How many years have you been boxing? 20 years
Why did you start boxing? I was an athlete from an early age, playing basketball, karate and track and field. My grandfather was passionate about English boxing, and at the time I played basketball. I didn't like team sports because people didn't always give their all. That's why I asked my father to sign me up, and I spent six months doing kickboxing before turning to boxing.
Interests outside of boxing: Hiking, giving boxing lessons, spending time with family. I'm a fan of basketball and I like animes. I'm learning to knit and I'm a cleaning freak - it's my therapy.
