Boxing Canada: committed to Sport Integrity!

Last week President Tom Hennessey and ED Christopher Lindsay attended the Sport Integrity Canada Symposium.

The Symposium saw national sport organizations, multisport organizations, athletes, and leaders and experts in their fields come together to help shape the future of sport integrity in Canada. Through real-life case studies, panel discussions, small-group conversations and powerful storytelling, delegates explored a wide breadth of sport integrity topics.

There was a presentation from the Honourable Adam van Koeverden, Secretary of State (Sport) speaking to our Nation’s cultural commitment to sport integrity.

The Symposium reflected on the first year of the Canadian Safe Sport Program (CSSP), discussed the finalization and implementation of the 2027 World Anti-Doping Code and Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP), explored the latest in match fixing and sport betting regulation through the Canadian Program to Prevent Competition Manipulation (CPPCM), and surfaced emerging and evolving integrity issues in sport.
