SELKIRK, MB — July 4, 2026 — The Selkirk Recreation Complex will be the epicenter of elite amateur boxing on Saturday, July 4, as Fight Night V brings together Team Canada and Team Mexico for an evening of world-class international competition hosted by Maulers Boxing. The event will feature a stacked lineup of national team athletes alongside some of Canada’s top amateur prospects in front of what is expected to be one of the largest boxing crowds ever assembled in Selkirk.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with the first bout scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Selkirk Recreation Complex. Fans will witness a full card of exciting matchups, highlighted by high-level international contests between Canadian and Mexican athletes known for their skill, determination, and aggressive styles.

Among the featured international bouts is Team Canada’s Priyanka Dhillon, who faces Mexico’s Ingrid Gómez in what promises to be one of the night’s most anticipated women’s contests. Dhillon is a veteran of the National Team with a Bronze Medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and her matchup against the experienced Mexican national team representative is expected to deliver fast-paced, technical action.

Another marquee women’s bout features rising talent Rachel Bourdon of Team Canada taking on Almendra González of Team Mexico. Both athletes bring international experience and relentless styles, making their contest a must-watch for boxing fans.

The men’s card also showcases several standout Canadian prospects. Aayan Khokhar (132 lbs) of Bramalea Boxing Club meets Kwaj Jok (132 lbs) of South Side Legion Boxing Club in an explosive matchup between two talented young fighters looking to make a statement and cement a position on the National Team.

In the evening’s co-main event, Victor Cheung (121 lbs) of Pan Am Boxing Club squares off against Youssef Rahim(121 lbs) of Mountainside Boxing Club. With both boxers known for their speed, ring IQ, and championship aspirations, the bout is expected to be one of the most technically impressive fights on the card.

The event culminates with the main event, where hometown favorite Damir Kudusov of Maulers Boxing faces Kamyar Aram of Steeltown Boxing Club in a 145-pound showdown that caps an unforgettable night of amateur boxing.

Fight Night V represents another major milestone for Maulers Boxing and continues the club’s commitment to bringing elite amateur boxing to Manitoba.
