Following a training camp in Germany, members of the women’s Elite National Team now look forward to facing the competition at the IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships. The match-ups have been set for the 12th edition of this competition taking place in Istanbul, Turkey. A record 310 boxers from 73 countries will be competing. With the competition starting on May 9th, below are the draw results for Canada:

 

• 48 kg: Priyanka Dhillon vs. Alua Balkibekova (KAZ) – May 10
• 54 kg: Scarlett Delgado vs. Rachael Kavanagh (AUS) – May 12
• 66 kg: Charlie Cavanagh vs. Rosie Eccles (WAL) – May 12
• 75 kg: Tammara Thibeault vs. TBD (BYE) – May 14
