Boxing Canada has completed our 2025-2026 Athlete Assistance Program (AAP) cycle and are about to present the 2026-2027 nominations to Sport Canada.
Nominations follow the AAP Selection criteria. To simplify the process of determining the selections Boxing Canada maintains a “live” dashboard of athlete selections throughout the year. This provides athletes and coaches an opportunity to review the status of selection and, if needed, provide feedback on potential errors or omissions.
At the end of the cycle Boxing Canada prepares a formal report for Sport Canada. We share this report with our membership to keep everyone informed about the process and opportunity that the Government of Canada provides to our top athletes.
