Coaching Staff
The athletes are supported by an experienced coaching team:
- Ariane Fortin
- Danielle Bouchard
- Vincent Auclair
- Samir El-Mais
Participation in Boxam represents an important step in the athletes’ international development, providing exposure to high-level competition and contributing to Boxing Canada’s long-term performance pathway.
In the lead-up to the tournament, the team completed an intensive preparation phase in Montreal, highlighted by a national training camp held from January 25 to January 30, bringing together almost 30 elite athletes for high-level sparring and technical work.
“The training camp in Montreal was a key part of our preparation,” said coach Vincent Auclair. “Having more close to 30 athletes together allowed us to create a very competitive environment and focus on refining the small details: tactical execution, timing, and ring awareness, before heading to Spain. The athletes showed strong commitment and professionalism, and we feel well prepared going into Boxam.”
