Boxing Canada National Training Centre Livestreams

Boxing Canada’s National Training Centre, located inside the Institute National du Sport in Montreal, is Canada’s boxing gym. Its primary job is to provide a home for National Team athletes to train (Daily Training Environment – “DTE”). Occasionally the NTC will host selection competitions which are restricted to just a limited number of athletes. The National Office of the Head Coach, Senior Coach, Program Coordinator, and Executive Director are also housed in the NTC. The National Award Plaques are kept on display at the National Training Centre when not on display at events and competitions.

With the generous support of our National Equipment Supplier, Rival Boxing, the gym has been re-furbished with new bags. Rival’s support has also enabled the NTC to provide an opportunity everyone to get a peek into National Team practices. When not away for competition that National Team will be live-streaming our Wednesday morning technical workouts. Typically these begin at 9:30am and end at 11am. The full practice will be available later as a recording. We are also hoping to have one of the National Team athletes make a short highlight reel of the practice, showing viewers each of the exercises in sequence.

To see livestream of the practices watch us on Twitch.

To see full length recordings and overviews of the practices see us on YouTube. (once we have 50 subscribers we will stream live to YouTube – please subscribe!)

Because the NTC is not a club it belongs to all members of Boxing Canada. Many clubs have dropped by for mini training camps, or just for a visit on the way to a competition. The NTC is inside the iconic Olympic Stadium and is home to 13 of Canada National Teams. Should you find yourself in Montreal please let us know so we can have you drop in for a visit, a workout, or both!
