Canadian Elite Boxing Team Set to Compete at World Boxing Cup in Brazil

The Canadian elite boxing team is set to compete at the World Boxing Cup, taking place from April 19 to April 26, 2026, in Foz de Iguaçu, Brazil. This premier international event brings together top senior-level boxers from around the globe, offering a high-performance competitive platform early in the 2026 season.

Organized under the banner of World Boxing, the World Cup is a key fixture in the international boxing calendar, providing elite athletes with valuable ranking opportunities and preparation ahead of major upcoming competitions.

Canadian Team Selection

Canada will be represented by a dynamic team of ten athletes across different weight categories. The team is ready to take on the competition after completing a multi-nation training camp in Brazil, where they trained alongside international teams in preparation for the tournament.
