Canadian Safe Sport Program Update
As a federally funded national sport organization, Boxing Canada is adopting the Canadian Safe Sport Program (CSSP) Rules. Β
As part of this adoption process, all participants identified by Boxing Canada who meet the following description have a requirement to complete a mandatory e-learning course (Safe Sport 2025) and sign a Participant Consent Form.
- Athletes on the Nationally-Identified Athlete List
- Employees and board members
- National-level coaches and athlete support personnel
- Officials Level 4 and Higher
Safe Sport 2025 explains the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS), the CSSP, and the consent form to ensure you understand what you are agreeing to under the terms of the CSSP and the UCCMS. The course concludes with the consent form, so you can easily complete at the same time.
Individuals needing to complete the education component or consent form will be contacted directly.
If you have questions about the education requirement, or have questions about signing up, please consult the CCESβs Safe Sport Education webpage.
