With only 13 days remaining until the start of the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games boxing competition, Boxing Canada would like to introduce you to one athlete on our National Team each day for the next 13 days.

We will start with Victor Tremblay (QC, Rival Boxing Gym Rive Nord), who is representing Canada in the 57kg weight division, boxes out of Boisbriand, Quebec and is coached by his father Hugo Tremblay.

Victor’s current favorite boxer is Terence Crawford because he believes him to be the most intelligent and complete boxer today. Victor also favors Floyd Mayweather Jr’s mix of intelligence and aggressiveness.

If Victor could hang out with any movie or book character, it would be Yoda from the Star Wars series so that he could pick up some of his wisdom.
