Jake started boxing at the young age of 6, since his older brother was already a boxer, and by the age of 10, he already had his first bout. Having been initiated to the sport early on, he feels as if it has always been part of him. It’s the tremendous amount of hard work as well as the science behind the sport that made him fall in love with boxing.
Jake wishes to participate in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and hasn’t decided yet if he would like to pursue a professional career afterward. He is currently taking a year off from school to focus on boxing and work.
