Physical evaluation for the Youth National Team

Following the National Championships that took place in March in Quebec City, a physical evaluation has been scheduled for the Youth National champions. Indeed, twelve boxers will participate in the evaluation at Institut National du Sport du Québec (INS Quebec) in Montreal on July 16-17. Here is the list of the athletes that who will be present:

60 Kg Jessie-Jayne Ouellet (QC)
64 Kg Naomi Pelletier (QC)
75 Kg Jaspreet Singh (ON)
This mandatory evaluation will test the physical condition of these athletes prior to a training camp that will take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico starting on August 22nd. It is the first pre-requisite step for the National Team athletes to start off the season.
Following the physical evaluation, the training camp in Puerto Rico will combine a week-long training with the host country and will finish with exhibition bouts between the two teams. The trip will further evaluate the youth boxers prior to the AMBC American Confederation Youth Championships that will take place in Costa Rica in September.
Note that the physical evaluation in Montreal will be closed to the public, but stay put for some updates and pictures.
