Record number of participants ahead of the 2019 Canadian Qualification
With only 17 days to go before the competition, the 2019 Canadian Qualification promises to be bigger than expected with a record number of registered participants from across Canada!Β Indeed, a total of 96 Elite boxers (61 men and 35 women) will take part in the qualification scheduled December 17 – 20 at Le Westin Montreal Hotel.Β
Each province could register up to two Elite boxers per division to challenge the Canadian champions for an opportunity to represent Canada at the upcoming international Olympic Qualification events.

“This competition is a crucial step in the qualification process for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. We look forward to seeing the best Canadian boxers in action over the course of four exciting boxing sessions,” states Boxing Canada’s High Performance Director, Daniel TrΓ©panier.

The 2019 Canadian Qualification is an event not to be missed, featuring world-calibre athletes as they venture towards their Olympic dream.
