2025 Elite Nationals Results
Huge congratulations to all the participants at the 2025 Elite National Championships. Athletes, coaches, officials, spectators, and organizers enjoyed four amazing days of exceptional athletic performance and boxing skill.

There were three other important awards given out:
Performance of the Year
This year Canada sent a young team to the 2025 World Boxing World Championships. Only one of the athletes had previous Elite World Championships experience. Over two weeks of competition three athletes were able to make the quarter finals. And one athlete, fighting in the Women’s 80kg class, secured Canada’s single medal of the tournament.
- Congratulations to Viktoria Penney for Canada’s performance of the year in the World Championships semi-final for the 80kg class, bringing home a Bronze Medal for Canada.
National Team Rookie of the Year
Rookie of the year awards go to the best international performances of boxers who have represented Canada for the first time in the season.
Rookie of the Year Women
- Viktoria Penney for her Bronze Medal at the 2025 World Boxing World Championships in Liverpool.
Rookie of the Year Men
- Joshua Ofori for his Gold Medal performance at the 2025 World Challenge Cup in Czech Republic.
